Project Mugatiya

Advertise on an ip:port proxy! Project Mugatiya is so far the only ip:port proxy that allows you to push advertisements like on a web proxy.

Project Mugatiya is an Open Source IP:Port proxy emulator that is written in Php and is meant to run inside a web server that supports Php, such as Apache. This is not a url re-writing web proxy such as Glype, but a proper IP:Port proxy, sometimes refered to as Elite Proxies and Open Proxies.

This proxy has features such as the ability to display adds based on the content rating of the site visted, and supports most SSL sites via url-rewriting. The proxy also contains a captcha from reCAPTCHA to stop automated bots from using the proxy for spam – if you want.

It’s written very simply so that anyone can understand it. You don’t have to be a Php guru to make changes. The best bit is that it will run in and Apache.

The source code is free to download and use as you please. It is released under the Apache License v2, which means you can do absolutely anything with it. I would however, very much appreciate an acknowledgment.
